Claim procedure:  The customer/survivor/legal heir/authorised signatories, as the case may be, may lodge a claim for the payment of unclaimed deposit/unrealised instrument(s) or activation of the inoperative account, as below:

Customer can visit the nearest branch of the Bank with a request letter (Annexure I) and submit valid proof of identity, address & latest photograph. On verification of the same branch shall arrange for activation of the account and allow transactions in the account. If claim is related to payment of unclaimed deposit/unrealised instrument(s), the same shall be processed after verification of documents. In order to the claim deposit, the Legal Heir/Nominee can visit the nearest branch of the Bank and submit the required documents as defined in the claim settlement process of the Bank available on the Bank’s website under "Policy for settlement of claims in case of deceased depositors". In case of claim in respect of non-Individual accounts, the customer/claimant needs to submit the claim Form (Annexure I) on the Company’s/Firm’s/Institution’s letterhead duly signed by the authorised signatories along with their valid identity and address proofs. The customer may also be required to submit such other documents as may be requested by the Bank.
