Instant Debit Card PIN Generation
Bandhan Bank's PIN generation service enables you to generate your debit card PIN instantly, from anywhere, anytime. No need to contact the branch or visit the ATM or wait for your PIN to arrive by mail. For your convenience, we have made PIN generation quick, convenient and paperless.
Follow the steps given below and generate your PIN using Internet Banking or mBandhan mobile app:
- Log in to Internet Banking or mBandhan mobile app
- Select 'Debit Card' from the main Menu/Quick Links
- Select the card for PIN generation
- Select 'Generate PIN' from the menu
- Enter card details such as card expiry, CVV, date of birth/PAN, and click on 'Validate'
- Set a 4-digit PIN of your choice
- Re-enter PIN to confirm and click on 'Submit'
- Enter the OTP/mPIN to verify and click on 'Submit'
You will receive a confirmation of the PIN generation on your registered mobile number.

Safe banking practices:
- Never share your banking and personal details like CVV, OTP, PIN, DOB, etc., with anyone, including bank representatives.
- Never write your debit or credit card PIN anywhere.
- Never click on links received in SMS/email from unverified sources.
- Always set up alerts for banking transactions.
At the time of issuance or reissuance of your debit card, the card is enabled for usage at domestic ATMs and merchant outlets only. You can enable the card for online payments, contactless as well as international transactions by either of the following modes-
Internet banking
Login to Internet Banking > Debit Card > Select the Card > Manage Limits & Preferences > Enable/Disable Transactions & Modify Limits > Submit & Confirm > Enter the OTP >Verify the changes

Login to mBandhan mobile app > Debit Card > Select the Card > Manage Limits & Preferences > Enable/Disable Transactions & Modify Limits > Submit & Confirm > Enter the mPIN >

PAN is mandatory for activating international usage on debit card. In case of a minor cardholder who does not have a PAN, guardian's PAN will be mapped for LRS reporting of international transaction done using the minor's debit card.
