Mr. Banerjee, a Fellow Member of the Institute of Company Secretaries of India (ICSI), has over 26 years of experience in governance and compliance. He has been with the Bank since its inception and played an instrumental role in establishing its governance structure and practices.
His primary responsibilities include ensuring Board governance and compliance with the Banking Regulation Act, SEBI Regulations, Companies Act, and other regulatory requirements. He has also been involved in various corporate restructuring initiatives and corporate actions, including initial public offerings, mergers and amalgamations, private equity deals, fundraising, and contract agreements.
